    ❉ Built the first global LGBT business organization with initiatives on 5 continents which includes the first global LGBT emerging leader program, the first global LGBT women’s program, the first LGBT Corporate Board leadership program, the first LGBT summit ever in Asia, and successfully engaged 95+ companies and 320+ CEOs in the LGBT equality conversation.

    ❉ Started the first team on Wall Street in 2001 to focus on the LGBT community, bringing in $1.4B to Merrill Lynch, which drove ML to spend millions to support the LGBT community, change its policies around transgender employees, domestic partners and was recognized by the HRC Corporate Equality Award in 2005.

    ❉ My marriage to my husband Chris, which is entering its 12 year (5 married).

    David Marshall Grant – actor from Angels in America who responded to a letter I wrote him in 1994 as I was coming out to myself.  We corresponded throughout my years at Duke, and he took me to dinner when I moved to NYC.

    Subha Barry – helped me navigate Merrill Lynch at the very beginning and remains a champion of me to this day

    Lloyd Blankfein – CEO of Goldman Sachs, first Out Leadership board member

    Noel Quinn – CEO of HSBC Commercial Bank, OL champion for many years, now OL Board

    Tony Brown – Professor at the Stanford Institute for Leadership at Duke University – former professor whose classes I still guest lecture at each year

    Woodberry Forest School – my former boarding school where I have been involved pushing for LGBT+ inclusion (personally and through funding) for 15+ years
